The Clubhouse @ EXPO
The Clubhouse @ EXPO, which includes the Youth FX Urban Media Program, Teen Leadership Program and Summer Youth Job Corps, offers more than 500 teens annually the opportunity to develop new skills through the use of technology, learn the artistic and technical process of digital filmmaking and music production, develop job and life skills, and have a paid summer internship.
Afterschool Enrichment for Elementary Students
Our “Walk Crew” and program funded vans transport children ages 5-11 that attend school in the Exposition Park neighborhood to EXPO Center for engaging academic and recreational activities during the critical afterschool hours.
Summer Campership Program
Camp scholarships enable hundreds of economically disadvantaged youth to attend EXPO Center’s day camp, where they swim, play soccer and basketball, make arts and crafts, explore in our computer lab, create music, and embark on exciting field trips.
Learn to Swim Program
To date, over 40,000 youth have learned life-saving water skills through the Learn to Swim Program. With funding from the LA84 Foundation, students receive lessons during school hours, gaining confidence and self-esteem in the water with many continuing on to competitive aquatics and becoming certified lifeguards.
