EXPO Voices — Dameon

EXPO Voices is a video series documenting the rich stories of the South Los Angeles community we serve at EXPO Center. The EXPO Center is a multi-generational facility managed by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, and supported by the Friends of EXPO Center, that serves its surrounding community with recreational, educational, and arts programs. We seek to highlight unique stories of our members as viewed through the lens of our programs

In this episode of EXPO Voices, Dameon, a clarinetist and member of the YOLA at EXPO Youth Orchestra program, tells us about the importance of music in his life. YOLA at EXPO is a partnership between the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Harmony Project, and the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
